Hide and Seek

This choreography of movement involves the choral group and dancers on the stage to the accompaniment of Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek” sung a cappella.

In the poetic conception, the choreography engages with the interplay between visibility and invisibility, between the central and the peripheral, the evident and the discreet. This logic of oscillation is inspired by Piet Mondrian’s abstractions with their resonant primary colors and minimal black and white architecture that is both complex and primal.
